WHY SKYTREE?

What sets our DAC solution apart

Ready to deploy, anywhere

Our machines are built for real-world versatility and adaptable to local energy sources, climates, and site conditions. Whether it's a single unit or a full DAC Park, our modular machines are ready to deploy wherever CO₂ is needed.

Specialized technology provider

We focus on what we do best: developing and manufacturing cutting-edge DAC technology. Our machines are built for CO₂ end users who need an onsite supply, and for project developers scaling carbon removal and monetizing carbon credits.

Levelized cost of CO₂

Our DAC projects are bankable through our low cost of carbon capture. We factor in smart energy integration, ongoing sorbent improvements, online monitoring and field upgrades to the newest innovations to deliver a lower cost per ton of captured CO₂.

Scalable innovation

Upgrades to installed machines—including future system updates and sorbent upgrades—can be applied onsite, minimizing downtime and helping companies stay ahead as our technology evolves.

Skytree Stratus selected by Forschungszentrum Jülich for innovative Power-to-X research project

Skytree’s Direct Air Capture (DAC) technology has been selected by Germany’s Forschungszentrum Jülich for a pioneering Power-to-X research project. The goal: to create a scalable, real-world model for converting solar energy into carbon building blocks usable as eFuel or base chemical  eFuels are renewable, carbon-neutral liquid fuels that can be produced in desert climates, powered by solar energy, and transported to energy-demanding regions like Europe. This initiative aims to demonstrate how companies could transform excess renewable energy into safely transportable fuels using Direct Air Capture in the future.

Skytree and Return Carbon selected by EDF Renewables North America to develop Texas-based DAC park delivering 500,000 tonnes of CO₂ removal per year

Skytree and Return Carbon, in partnership with Verified Carbon, are pleased to announce the collaboration with EDF Renewables North America (EDFR) for the development of DAC facilities in Texas. Return Carbon and EDF Renewables North America (EDFR) have executed a Term Sheet for delivering renewable power to large-scale DAC facilities in Texas, which will yield cost-competitive certified carbon removal credits. Together with Skytree, the DAC technology partner, and Verified Carbon, bringing geological sequestration expertise, Return Carbon aims to develop 500,000 tonnes per year of negative emissions. This landmark collaboration promises to revolutionize carbon removal efforts by integrating DAC technology, a direct renewable power source, and Gulf Coast’s rich geological carbon storage capacity.

THE DAC SPOTLIGHT

Why We Need the CO₂ Transition

Carbon dioxide (CO₂) is vital for life and many industries, yet excessive amounts in our atmosphere pose a significant climate problem. The "CO₂ transition" describes a fundamental shift in how we release, use and remove carbon. Direct Air Capture (DAC) is a key technology supporting this transition by removing existing CO₂ from the air and transforming it into a valuable resource.
